Q: what is the difference between free will and fate? Is humanity’s existence determined by fate or does humanity
have free will?
Free will is were the person has a choice of what to do and can determine there own future anyway they want it to be.
Fate is when you cant control whats going to happen to you and what ever does happen was ment to happen for a greater reason.
Personally I think humanity has free will. We have different choices everyday on what to do, wether it turns out to be bad
or not it wasn’t fate, you were the one that chose to do it so you made it happen. Everything in the world just
happens, some people say it happened for a reason, well it didn’t, all that happens is that it has an effect, sometimes
it can turn out great, or it can be a downfall. It all depends on what you do.

How is pride like a donut?
I have no clue really how these are like each other but let me take a guess. Well donuts
are pretty good with there sugar and crème and things like that. And pride is a good thing too, just like the donut. But eating
too many donuts can be bad for you and can make you fat in some cases. So I guess too much pride can be a bad thing. That’s
not what I think; I think pride is the best thing in the world. But that’s what I think this analogy means. But I guess
its true if you have too much pride is a bad thing. LIKE DONUTS!
Memories are like a river because the river is
continuously going just like the mind. An example of this is when the guy gets hanged. Even till he dies his mind is thinking
continuously, trying to escape the reality that he is actually going to die. Rivers can also be deep just like memories.
Rivers also are pretty bumpy and jagged. Our minds can be like this when we don’t remember something to well.
A
clock is like the bubonic plaque, or also referred to as the black death, because a clock never stops. It hands of a clock
go round and round and never stopped. The bubonic plague lasted for a long time and the deaths never stopped, just like the
plague. The hour and minute hands of a clock are black just like the hands and body of the people infected with the plague.
There
are many interpretations about how a window is like opportunity. You always have the chance to create or open you own opportunity,
just like a window. You can easily achieve what you want but sometimes your chance is closed shut. When you open up a window
you open up a doorway to opportunity. The light that shines through is motivation but when you close it, there is nothing
shining through anymore.
If I could go back in time I would go to the 1940’s and meet Albert Einstein. I
want to do this because he was a great man and came up with many theories. He was a credit to his country and helped win WW2.
He is my hero so it would be great too meet him. I would also like to see the first explosion of a nuclear bomb. I love the
science behind it and would like to see the evolution of it. Also I would like to see the landing in France on d-day. That
was turning point of the war and I would like to see it, from a safe distance. Then I would go to the American Revolution
and watch that too. Then I would go to the civil war, and fight against the south and give the generals of the north info
about the south’s plans, since I already know what happens.
There are many similarities between the toaster episode
of the Simpson's and the short story A Sound of Thunder. One of the main similarities is that in both the story and TV show,
it shows that the slightest change can affect the future very dramatically. Homer kills a mosquito, T-Rex and every other
dinosaur there was and this affected the world greatly. In A sound of thunder, Eckles steps on a butterfly and that changes
how the world spells. Also one of the main differences is the time travel device. In the Simpson's it is a toaster but in
A Sound of Thunder it is a company that uses highly technical devices to go back in time. In A Sound of Thunder Eckles thinks
he can go back and fix the past but you cannot do that and the Simpson's episode shows that as well.
